Maxim Rybin, a former forward in the KHL’s Fonbet Championship, shared his thoughts on who has been the biggest disappointment of the 2025/26 season.
“What does disappointment mean? You know who I feel sorry for? Voronkov. He’s been benched in Columbus. He’s a huge, strong guy who just can’t showcase his potential. Playing eight minutes a game… what can you show in eight minutes? He played well in Kazan, he knows how to play,” Rybin said.
Dmitry Voronkov, 25, played 63 games for the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2025/26 season, recording 32 points (17 goals, 15 assists) with an average ice time of 13:56 per game.
