Yuvraj, an avid golfer since retiring, shared the video of the gift on social media and lightheartedly called out his other mentees—Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, Prabhsimran Singh, Naman Dhir, Abdul Samad, and Priyansh Arya. “Sharam karo… Rishabh Pant se kuch seekho,” he joked, urging them to learn from Pant’s thoughtful gesture. Despite the off-field support, Pant’s IPL 2026 season has been underwhelming. In nine innings, he has scored 204 runs at an average of 25.50 and a strike rate of 128.30, with only one half-century. Known for his aggressive batting, Pant has struggled to convert starts into big scores, and his team sits at the bottom of the points table with just two wins from nine matches, facing probable elimination from the playoffs.
