
Former NFL linebacker Anthony Wint is poised to fight for a UFC contract on Dana White’s Contender Series, according to multiple reports.

Wint played college football at Florida International University, where he earned three All-Conference USA honors. He went undrafted in 2018 and signed with the New York Jets as a free agent. During the 2018 season, he appeared in two NFL games, recording one tackle and forcing a fumble.
In 2023, Wint transitioned to mixed martial arts. He has compiled a perfect 6-0 record, with four knockouts and one submission victory.
The 30-year-old heavyweight, standing 6’0″ and weighing 224 pounds, will face Matt Adams (6-2) on August 11 at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.
